Responsibilities:

• Legal support for business departments of the Group companies, with particular emphasis on the Energy area
• Legal advice on matters relating to energy law, environmental protection law, administrative law, construction law
• Drafting contracts, conducting due diligence for energy transactions
• Providing regulatory advice, and representing the company in negotiations and disputes
• Structuring and negotiating energy-related transactions
• Ensuring that all contracts comply with relevant laws and regulations
• Mitigating legal risks and facilitating smooth transactions
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to protect the group interests
• Analyse regulatory requirements, and assess legal risks in transactions and projects
• Provide accurate and comprehensive legal guidance
• Representing Group companies in administrative proceedings
• Ensure the successful execution of energy projects
• Advise the Group on compliance with environmental laws and help them navigate complex regulatory frameworks
• Obtaining necessary approvals and permits for energy projects, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards
• Representing the Group in dealings with regulatory agencies

Requirements:

• University degree in Law
• Qualifications of a Legal Advisor / Attorney
• Very good knowledge of energy law issues
• Track record of working within a sector of renewable sources, environmental issues and contract law
• Experience in participating in the mergers and acquisitions processes
• Independence and reliability in performing job duties
• Excellent work organization, in particular the ability to set priorities and work under time pressure
• Good understanding of the energy industry, including its technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks
• Up to date about developments in renewable energy, fossil fuels, energy storage, and emerging technologies
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex legal documents
• Effective communication skills with ability to articulate legal concepts clearly, both orally and in writing
• Clear and persuasive manner, ensuring that all parties understand the legal implications and requirements of energy projects
• Fluent knowledge of English
