Responsibilities:

  • Manage overseas subsidiaries financial operations
  • Ensuring the timely and accurate processing of group transactions and maintenance of key controls for group entities
  • Lead and manage the monthly and quarterly financial close routines and timetable
  • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of financial results within a strict time frame for inclusion into the group consolidation
  • Support local boards in ensuring regulatory compliance for overseas subsidiaries
  • Responsible for tax compliance and reporting for overseas subsidiaries
  • Drive the efficient management of working capital in overseas subsidiaries
  • Preparation of financial statements for subsidiary entities in multiple jurisdictions
  • Lead and manage local Audits within set timelines
  • Support the development of team members in line with agreed objectives
  • Provide excellent levels of service in line with the company's standards, procedures and guidelines
  • Take responsibility for own personal development, in line with agreed annual performance objectives
  • To act always in accordance with the organization's values
  • Lead the timely production of legal entity ledgers within a strict timetable ensuring the production of robust and accurate results
  • Take ownership of entity balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ensure local subsidiaries comply with group policies and procedures
  • Prepare timely and accurate Board reporting for Board meetings
  • Deliver timely and regular regulatory reporting for regulated entities in multiple Jurisdictions
  • Lead and develop regulatory test forecasting
  • Report to Boards on regulator test compliance
  • Prepare Financial statements for entities in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Ensure group compliance with accounting standards (IFRS, FRS102, Lux GAAP, US GAAP etc.)
  • Manage audit for specified group entities, including field work management
  • Maintain tax compliance and reporting for oversea subsidiaries
  • Implement group working practise, policies, and procedures in oversea subsidiaries.
  • Support the establishment of financial operations of newly established jurisdictions, in alignment with
  • group standards and local regulatory requirements
  • Working with key business stakeholder develop and implement a robust billing process
  • Establish, document, and implement new governance requirements for newly established jurisdictions
  • Support group projects
  • Support implementation of Finance systems into overseas subsidiaries
  • Manage jurisdiction finance teams, where applicable
  • Develop team members in alignment with agreed objectives
  • Manage the team’s operations in line with the groups’ monthly close timetable

Requirements:

  • University degree in Finance and/or Accounting
  • ACA/ACCA Qualified or similar
  • Experience or exposure to a financial management environment or similar
  • Financial accounting and preparation of simple financial statements
  • Knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP principles
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software
  • Understanding of controls in a financial reporting context
  • Strong numeric and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal English
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
  • Highly accurate with good attention to detail
  • Excellent time management
  • Excellent organisational skills and able to prioritise effectively to meet deadlines and deliverables
  • Clear telephone manner
  • Enthusiastic and Team player with ability to adapt to challenging environment
