Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the preparation of regular and annual regulatory returns is in line with Local regulatory requirements
  • Play a lead role in the production of ICAAP requirements for the Lux MiFID entity
  • Maintain the relationship with third party providers to assist the company with regulatory understanding and compliance
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns and input to CIT returns, working closely with the tax team
  • Provide treasury function for the Lux entities overseeing cash balances and movements working closely with the treasury team and banking function and in compliance with the company policies
  • Support on-line banking access rights and administration
  • Provide regulatory information for financial reporting to the board meetings
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting in line with all corporate guidelines and requests, including Tax, Treasury, Audit and External regulators, and working with the Corporate Secretarial function
  • Assist and support statutory audit and audits for profit verification when required
  • Ensure adequate information is received from third parties to meet the disclosure requirements of the entities
  • Supervision of financial administrator where required
  • Build an understanding of finance statutory reporting and analysis in order to provide cover for this work
  • Oversight of accounting administration for Real Estate SPVs
  • Review and development of processes and procedures to accommodate business changes
  • Build an understanding of the relationship between the Lux entities and the company
  • Co-ordinate filings and work closely with the Compliance teams
  • Build relationships and strong communication channels with the company Finance function

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of the asset management industry and regulatory environment
  • Qualified accountant with financial reporting experience
  • Working knowledge of accounting standards (Lux GAAP and IFRS)
  • Ability to lead and drive change forward
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Build good relationships internally and externally
  • A flexible and adaptable approach
  • Effective analytical skills
  • Ideally bi-lingual to include English plus either French or German
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
